My niece loves princesses and princes and one day after my softball game she pointed up to the light pole and told us that the light pole was the tallest tower and that the princess lives at the top of the tallest tower and ever since then she has been talking about the tallest tower. My Mom had a box one day and decided to make my niece her own tallest tower. It is really cute and it is one of my nieces favorite toys. It never ceases to amaze me the ideas that my Mom comes up with.

Jazz Game
My cousin Whitney's dance group got to dance before the Jazz game on Friday so we all went down to watch her it was really fun. We decided to ride Frontrunner to the game so that no one had to worry about driving and it turned out great. This was my first time riding Frontrunner and I would definitely do it again. It was really fun watching Whitney dance because she is a great dancer and it made it even better that the Jazz won the game. The one bad part of the game was the lady sitting behind us she was really onery and complained about everything.

Lasagna hates me!
So, I would definitely say that I am not a gourmet chef but I can usually make dinner without ruining it with the exception of Lasagna. For my mom's birthday back in August I thought that I would be nice and invite everyone over for dinner and make lasagna. Well when I was making the sauce I was adding salt (we had a salt grinder) and the lids popped off and dumped all the salt into the sauce I tried to scoop out the salt because it was too late to start over but it didn't work so well and was still pretty salty. Then yesterday I invited my parents over for lasagna because we always have tons left over if it is just me and Adam eating it since it makes such a big pan. My Mom had mutual but she said my dad would still come over so that she didn't have to worry about making him dinner before mutual. So I got off work at 5 and my Dad was coming over at six thirty which was just enough time to make the lasagna. I had Adam start boiling the water for the noodles and cooking the meat before I got home so the food would for sure be done on time. I was so proud of myself for being so prepared and that the lasagna would definitely be done on time. I must have been feeling a bit too confident because that is when disaster hit. I was layering the lasagna into the dish and started to smell something really bad. At first I thought it may be the cheese but I smelled the cheese and it was fine. So I had Adam smell it and decided that something was definitely bad. We finally decided that it was the tomatoes in the sauce. So I had to throw all that food away and figure out something else to make which was not an easy task since all the meat I had was frozen and my Dad was going to be there in 45 minutes. I ended up making chicken and mashed potatoes and I have officially decided that lasagna hates me.

Brittany's Birthday
Sunday was Brittany's birthday she is no longer a teenager. For our birthdays we always go to my parents and my mom makes us whatever we want for dinner. When we were younger it was fun to just get to eat whatever we wanted now it is even better because you get to eat what you want and you don't have to make it. She chose to have enchiladas and they were so good. Thanks Mom for making them. For Christmas my parents brought the game Telestrations for my aunt and uncle and my aunt let me borrow it because she said that it was so fun and she definitely didn't lie. It was the most hilarious game sometime we would get laughing so hard that we were crying and couldn't talk. Its like the telephone game but with pictures and I am definitely not an artist so that made the game even more funny. Robyn made the cutest cake for Brittany it was a swimming pool and she used starburst for the tiles around the edge of the pool and she used gummy lifesavers as tubes with gummi bears sitting on them. I made Brittany an Apron for her birthday because she like Addisyn's that I made her for Christmas and I am very proud of myself I made it all by myself and didn't even end up in tears. I will post a picture of her in her apron once she emails me one.

Christmas Presents
I just have to brag a bit. I am not a crafty person and when I try to make something homemade I usually end up getting stressed out and call my Mom crying because its not working out like I imagined it but for Christmas I made 5 homemade presents and 4 of them turned out really well so I was super excited.First for the failure I made oakley's hat too big so I guess she can just grow into it or become a cone head and it will work perfectly.
We decided that she looked like Marge Simpson or The Bride of Frankenstein.
Addisyn loved her hat and scarf that I made and the hat really did fit just not with her ponytails and big bow that she had in her hair. I guess that I didn't get a picture of the other presents but I made two aprons for Addisyn and they turned out really cute. I will have to see if someone else got a picture of the aprons that I can steal.
