Bored

When I am bored at work I just read blogs or KSl. Apparently when Adam is bored at work they have races through the grocery store. I sent Adam and IM at work telling him I was bored and he told me that were having races through predetermined routes through the grocery store that sounds like much more fun than reading blogs or KSL.

Torture!

Since Monday's hike went so well we decided that we were going to go hiking again on Saturday but this time we were going to Hike Malans Basin. We added a few people to our group Marilyn, John, Dave, Lesa, Sloane, and Taz decided to join us for this hike and boy did they not know what they were getting themselves into. Apparently we need to research the hikes we go on better because this hike was definitely hard it took us 6 hours and it was pure toture. We didn't bring enough water because we didn't think that the hike would be that bad and how long it would take us. I am going to buy a camelbak today so they we always have enough water. I must not be very smart because even though the hike Saturday was really hard I am going hiking again tomorrow and on Saturday. John was the oldest person hiking with us and he totally kicked our butts he was cutting up through the trees where it was much steeper and he beat us all to the top by about 20 minutes. John and Marilyn go geocaching sometimes so John found some for us to find. Taz really liked doing this.

Hiking

I don't really like doing things in nature like camping or hiking but Adam and I always talk about going hiking for exercise but then when it is time to actually go hiking we never go. Since Monday was a holiday and we both had the day off I decided that we were going hiking for sure. As motivation I invited some other people to come with us I invited Brittany and Andy who decided not to go because they are lazy and wanted to sleep all day, I invited Cody and Robyn who also decided not to come, I also invited my parents my Mom decided to come and my Dad stayed home to mow the grass, and I also invited Jenn and Ryan since Ryan had to be a grown up and work Jenn came by herself. We decided to hike up waterfall canyon because I thought that it would be an easy hike to start out with. It was definitely not as easy as I thought that it would be due to me being out of shape but hiking made me decide that I really don't mind being out in nature too much as long as its not for an extended period of time. I am going to try to go hiking a lot this summer so hopefully I can hike waterfall canyon again at the end of the summer and it will be easy. On the way back down the trail we saw some EMTs about half way up the trail as we passed them we found out that they had come up to help someone that had passed out on the trail and then one of the EMTs started having problems so they had gotten the person off the mountain that they originally came to help and they were now waiting for more EMTs to come help them get the EMT that was having problems off the mountain. As we got to the car we heard the life flight helicopter so we decided to wait around and see what happened it was really interesting because the helicopter landed at the trailhead and then was flying up to try to pick the patient (EMT) up off the trail. After this we decided to go to Chic-fil-a and get our free spicy chicken sandwiches they were definitely not as good as the original chic-fil-a sandwich but I can't really complain since it were free.
