If I'm not crazy now I will definitely be crazy by December. Starting August 22nd I am going to be going to school at the ATC 9 hours a week, taking 12 credits at Weber and working full time. I was hoping to be done at the ATC by the time that Weber starts but it's not going to happen and I don't want to wait a whole semester to start at Weber so for the next few months I am going to be pull my hair out busy. So, if I don't blog until December you know why. Wish me luck.

Owls
There is this cool new store that just opened up by my house that has a whole bunch of wood cut out that you can just paint. We found some super cute owls and decided to paint them. I love to paint things with my sisters and my mom because everyone's stuff always turns out so cute but so different. Whenever we do a project we make a mini version for Addisyn to paint and her owl was sitting on my mom's kitchen table the other day and she picked it up and the legs fell off and she got mad at my mom for not telling her that the legs weren't hooked on yet. I think it's funny because Addisyn has gotten an attitude lately but she is still adorable.
This has nothing to do with making the owls but the other day I was talking to my cousin Jenn and she was telling me a funny story about Addisyn. They were at a baby shower and Addisyn said "ugh my grandma said this was going to be fun but this is a grown up party. I wish Heather was here." Jenn asked her why she wanted me to be there and Addisyn's response was "She has games on her phone" I'm glad to here that she doesn't actually like me just my phone. The first thing she does when she sees me is ask to have my phone. Luckily Jenn was nice enough to download some games for her to play.
I can't turn this picture around for some reason but they all turned out way different but all very cute. The legs still need to be hooked on so maybe one day I will post a completed picture.
Brittany was having a ton of fun helping Oakley paint.
Here I am deep in concentration painting my owls stomach.

All Girl
I took my mom's memory card for her camera to post some pictures on Facebook and I found this picture and just had to post it on my blog. Oakley is definitely all girl she loves shoes and purses. Everytime I go over to my parents Oakley takes my shoes off my feet so that she can wear them and she always returns them and puts then back on my fee when she is done playing with them. She also carries my purse around which is especially funny because its almost as big as her and is usually really heavy. Oakley is so funny to talk to her favorite thing to say is "huh" no matter what you say to her the response is always "huh". She is super smart and totally knows how to get her way. If she doesn't want to do what you tell her to do she just gives your a mischievious grin says "huh" and then does whatever she wants. Unfortunately, Adam is learning from Oakley and now if he doesn't want to do what I ask him to do he will just keep saying "huh" no matter how many times I repeat myself.
Adventures in Softball
So I have been playing softball for the past few years with the same team and I love it. I may not be the best but it's nice to have a scheduled time each week to get some exercise. Last night was our first game of the fall season and my cousin Jenn was player catcher and the second batter of the night hit a foul ball that hit Jenn in the mouth. Her lip immediately started to bleed so she was just going to sit out until she could get it to stop bleeding but and then play again. When it stopped bleeding she went to the bathroom to wash her hands and when she looked at her lip she decided that she needed to go get stitches rather than play. One of the guys on our team can't play right now so he was going to take her to the instacare but my mom and Laurie came to watch right then so they took her instead. Unfortunately, the instacare was closed she ended up going to the ER. Five stitches and some pain medication later she is as good as new. I learned a good lesson from this whole situation. I learned that I need to be more prepared when I go to softball. Sometimes I don't bring my wallet or my phone which would be really bad if I got hurt. Jenn didn't have her insurance card so she had to call Ryan who is in Oklahoma working to get the information. Because Jenn had to leave we needed another girl so that all of our guys could bat. One of the girls on our team broke her hand so we was just watching but she ended up filling in and did an amazin job batting with just one hand. We ended up winning the game 22-5 and I even got a triple. After the stitches
