A couple weekends ago Adam and I both had Saturday night off so we decided to go to the drive in together. Its tradition to go early to eat and play games before the movie starts. So we ordered some pizza grabbed some games and headed off to the movie. This was my first time going to the drive in this year. We saw Ice Age 3 and Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian. Ice Age was first and I thought that it was funny. I have been wanting to see Night at the Museum since it came out but since it was the second movie I fell asleep in the middle of it. So I guess I will just have to rent it once it comes out since I slept through most of the movie.
This is our view of the screen we lucked out to only have car in front of us
My little sister Brittany is getting married next month so a couple of weeks ago we had a bridal shower for her with my Mom's side of the family. The theme was movies and it was so fun. My movie was The Ringer. I got her an ice cream scoop and at "training guide" which was actually a cookbook of all the recipes my mom made us growing up. Thanks to my Mom and Aunt Linda and one very long night of scrapbooking we got the cookbook done in time for the shower. It was tons of fun and always enjoyable just hanging out with family. I also threw her a shower for her friends that next week but I don't have any pictures of that one because I was to busy being the host. I wish that I did have some pictures of her when she turned bright red when she opened some sexy lingerie.
So we have been house hunting for the past month and it is a pain in the butt. We found one house that we really liked but the people selling it decided to take it off the market. So today I had to work but Adam went house hunting and he says that he found the perfect house or at least I hope it is the perfect house since I agreed to put in an offer on it without looking at it. I am going to go see it tomorrow so hopefully it is perfect. I trust Adam's opinion a lot because he is very meticulous so I think that I will love it.

Enjoying my S'more
So a couple of weeks ago my friend Larissa text me and asked me if I wanted to go over to her husband Colton's parent's house to play volleyball and eat S'mores. I was so excited but then she text me again later that day and told me we couldn't do it because we couldn't walk on the grass at his parent’s house. I was kind of bummed but it turned out OK because I got to go to dinner with Robyn and her family for her birthday. We also rescheduled hanging out at Colton's parents for later on in the week and decided to BBQ as well as play volleyball and eat S'mores I was super excited and looked forward to it all week. The only downside was that Adam had to work and had to come over later so he didn't get to hangout with us the whole time. It was so fun to play volleyball and badminton and of course my team won at both because we rock! It was fun to just sit around the fire and talk about everything that is going on with our lives right now as well as reminisce about high school since the group that was hanging out included Larissa and her husband Colton, my little sister Brittany and her soon to be husband Andy, my other friend Sarah, Colton's friend Bryce, Adam, and I. Brittany, Sarah, Larissa, and I were all really good friends in high school and it has been fun to add our spouses to our group as we have started to get married they all fit in perfectly. I forgot how much fun it was to just hangout with everyone just talking and laughing. I hope that we can make hanging out like this a regular thing because it was so much fun
This is what happens when I am supposed to be watching Addisyn
This is Alayna and me. It looks like we are doing some kind of cool trick I forgot to plug my nose and got tons of water up my nose.
Last week we went to Lava for my cousin Jacee's birthday. I haven't been there for at least five years and it has changed so much. There are slides now and they are super fun. There is also a rock wall that is in the water so when you fall off your land in the water it was super fun. I couldn't climb very high I guess I need to work out a bit more often.
Yesterday we made last minute plans to go to Lagoon. Adam had the day off so he went down in earlier with Jenn, Ann, Calvin, and their kids. Some of them went swimming which I was totally jealous of because I really love the pool slide at Lagoona Beach, but unfortunately I had to work so I couldn't go down early. Austin couldn't go swimming because he had an accident at youth conference and had to get 10 stitches in his shin. So, him and Calvin just rode some rides. I met up with them after I got off work and rode some rides with them. I have to say we are pros on the tilt-a-whirl we were spinning so fast the whole time. When we got off we were all a bit dizzy and a little sick but it was so fun. I am so glad we got season passes it is so fun to just go down for a few hours after work. There is a fairly new ride called the Dino Drop it is kind of like the rocket but for little kids, but adults can ride it too. We all decided to go on it and I have decided that it was just right for me. I would much rather ride it than the real rocket. What can I say I am a chicken when it comes to heights. Although later on this summer I am going to try to Sky Coaster I'll let you know how that goes. I'm sure it will involve a lot of screaming.
So, before I had a blog I was always telling everyone to update their blog so I had something to read and now that I have my own blog I never post anything. In my defense Adam doesn't know where the cord is to the camera so I can't put pictures on and I don't want to blog without my pictures, so hopefully this weekend I can find the camera cord so that I can post another blog.
